The best part about camping is waking up to the morning crisp air and not rushing to get started with your day. And rather than waking up to a humanized alarm clock, you wake up to the sun and tune in with the earth. It feels good. Camping is also nice because you spend time with the people around you rather than checking up on social media and seeing what others are doing. You also have the entire free day while camping, all unstructured and unscheduled so this allows you to give yourself time to actually enjoy things we wouldn’t normally pay attention to, like sitting in a camping chair. What I’ve also learned from camping is that we stress too much on being overly productive. We commit to so many things throughout the day and plan to get so many things done, but there’s nothing wrong with relaxing and taking a break. Go for a nice walk or sit in nature for a few minutes because that’s being productive and important too. Life isn’t all about hard work and being successful. Many successful people are never satisfied and are always aiming for bigger goals. Enjoy yourself. Give time to yourself to be at peace. It’s good for you. And through life, just enjoy moments. Don’t have expectations for all situations. Just let things be and experience moments. Your mind is more mellow and accepting of your surroundings. It’s nice.
