Northern Pacific Coastal Bike Trail

I am currently reading a book about the Camino De Santiago. I’m Off Then: Losing and Finding Myself on the Camino De Santiago by Hape Kerkeling. The Camino De Santiago is a pilgrim’s trail that extends about 500 miles from the edge of France to the end of Spain. Pilgrims will take as long as a month covering about 18 miles a day. I then wanted to have an adventure of my own so I took my bike and went along the Pacific Coast bike route. As the pilgrims follow the yellow arrows along the Camino De Santiago, I followed the Pacific Coast bike route signs and biked about 13 miles north along the coastal trail stopping and hanging out at different beaches. I watched the waves to see if the surf was any good. There was no one out, but the waves looked surfable. There were many corners breaking and I wanted to go out, but I am still without a surfboard and wetsuit so until then I will keep biking along.
